We are doing Thanksgiving with my family-all 37 of them! I'm in charge of the food-planning, buying etc. Three shopping trips and $550 later and I am wondering if there is a single holiday that doesn't have food at the center.
Valentines? Chocolate-check.
Christmas? Multiple fancy meals, and parties and food gifts-check.
St. Patrick's Day? Lots of drinking, I'm told, which goes with food-check.
Easter? Candy, candy, candy, ham and deviled eggs-check.
Ok, I think I've got one....President's Day! I have never prepared a holiday meal or shopped for food to celebrate President's Day.
Maybe I need to start!
